The most dangerous game!

In my grade ten english class we read the story "The most dangerous game". We got asked three intresting questions. One of them were; What do you think about General Zaroff's game? I think General Zaroffs game was terrifying and horrifying how someone could hunt people. The second question was;Would you have been able to survive? Why or why not? First of all I would not play such a game as "The most dangerous game". Honestly I probably would survive because I wouldnt actually play this game and if so I would swim out into the ocean to get away from General.
Do you think there are people that would play such a game? There might be some people who would play this frightening game but personality I would not play this game. Why risk your life for a game?
What are your opinions on this horrifying game? Would you play such a game like this one?

Do Celebrities have a negative effect on society?

I believe that celebrities do have a negative effect on society. Celebrities have a negative effect on society because of how celebrities act in public and also what the paparazzi find and put out in the media. That young children look up to as role models, when their actually a bad role model for children. Example Lindsey Lohan, she started out as a good girl who started playing in many movies, shows and then started singing.Which is when children started to look up to her as their role model. Then Lindsey turned to alcohol was caught drinking and driving and sent to jail. Someone who has done such things are not good role models and are a negative effect on society.

After reading this news story about Audrey Gleaves murder,I found out that the poilce have lack of evidence. This murder case might take longer then they expect.Reading that she was beaten, stabbed several time and sexually assaulted gives me goosebumps.Knowing that this happend to a woman who lived not that far from where we live in Hamilton.
This case has many unanswered questions,Why did she go back to school at the age of 60? Why didnt she get along with her mother? Why did she change her name? and the most obvious one Who killed Audrey Gleave?

Should we have standardized tests?

In school,we have standardized tests. Some people dont agree with having standardized testing as in literacy tests. My question is what other people think about having literacy tests,Should we have literacy tests or not? My opinion is yes.Yes because it shows how much we actually do learn in school and what we are learning. Also, what we need to improve in school.
